2026 Season: Fletcher Sailing School

Enrollment opens January 1

The 2026 enrollment process for the Abbot Fletcher Sailing School has begun with the acceptance of registrations beginning January 1st.

The school runs weekly from June 29 through August 7.  When you register your sailor, once you click their level in the form (Beginner, Intermediate, Racer) , the applicable dates will show up in a drop down menu, and you will be able to make your selection at that time.

If you are unsure as to the appropriate classes for your sailor, please see the Program Descriptions on the main page of the sailing school.  For issues with enrollment or general questions, you may email Sue Baker at AFSS@OBYC.org

Sailors enrolling for a two-week session receive a preferred program fee, which is highlighted in the enrollment form.

We can’t wait to see the kids on the water this summer!

No refund will be granted to any sailor who, after fair warning, is dismissed because of behavioral misconduct or violation of safety requirements.

In the case of significant extenuating circumstances (such as a documented medical condition), a pro-rated refund (less the $100 non-refundable deposit) will be issued.

Adjustments/cancellations

We recognize that sailors sometimes wish to add additional weeks once they have experienced the program.  AFSS does our best to accommodate these changes on a first-come first-served basis.  Please note that programs often fill up, so we cannot always accommodate these requests.

Transfers:  Families may be able to transfer their sailor(s) to another available session at no cost prior to the start of the program, depending on available space.
